It seems like Canada is a good place to catch trophy size channel catfish, Selkirk, Manitoba, Red River of the North, and Grand River, Ontario.

If you run out of minnows, use a white jig, or cut a strip off a perch and try on the hook.

My Grandpa took my brother and myself fishing on Lake Erie when I was younger.. I remember catching our limit on Perch and also brining them in two at a time with a high low rig!

we have plenty of carp like that and bigger in the ponds and lakes in New York City. We don’t need to use a boat to get to where they are. Anyway nice fish good luck fishing in 2024. 🎣
